Mikael Pettersson's patches for the 2.4 kernel patch-boot-time-ioremap Implements a version of ioremap() which is functional at the very early stages of the i386 boot sequence. patch-early-dmi-scan Moves the i386 DMI scan to an earlier point in the boot sequence, so that the DMI data can be used to guide hardware detection and initialisation. Requires patch-boot-time-ioremap. patch-dmi-apic-fixups Adds DMI scan rules and apic.c workarounds for broken BIOSen, which is needed to avoid hard lockups on some machines in certain configurations. The machines currently handled by this patch are: Dell Inspiron and Latitude, IBM Thinkpad T20, Intel AL440LX, and Microstar 6163. Requires patch-early-dmi-scan. patch-p4watchdog Implements NMI watchdog for Pentium 4 processors. patch-up-opt Optimises UP kernels by replacing task->processor accesses with dummy macros. patch-mikpe My personal final-touch patch. Not for general use. WIP-patch-azt2320 Makes the SB sound driver recognise and activate the AZT2320 sound card. Note: in my testing, the card has a feedback loop causing it to emit a high-pitched noise until the inputs are muted. I haven't yet figured out how to force the SB driver to do that automatically. WIP-patch-gcc3 Prelimary patch to allow clean(er) kernel compiles with gcc-3.x. Only lightly tested. Use at your own risk.
