Kernel 2.4 hotfixes build report. Not all kernels are booted on the target machines, but as often as possible they will be built. Some of the kernels are built with "allmodconfig", which means that all modules which are compatible with the system will be built. But I don't test with those kernels, so I recompile with a machine-specific config and test the resulting kernel. When I indicate "builds ok", it means that the kernel builds with the specified config without any error, but possibly warnings, and that I have not tried it. When I indicate "works ok", it means that I booted the system on this kernel and did not notice anything special. I'd like to thank particularly Grant Coady, who regularly compiles -hf kernels on several of his machines and maintains a build report on his page linked below. From now on, I'll stop integrating his build successes in my reports as I always update them in the next version only.
